for Angelman Syndrome Research
Angelman syndrome (AS) is a rare neurogenetic disorder that affects approximately one in 15,000 people – approximately 500,000 individuals worldwide. Children and adults with AS typically have balance issues, motor impairment and can have debilitating seizures. Some individuals never walk. Most do not speak. Disruptive sleep also can be a serious challenge to the individual and caretaker(s).
We partner with Foundation For Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) for all fundraising efforts. Help Fund Research to Cure Angelman Syndrome.
Our family of six was so excited when we found out we were adding one more to the mix. We did a gender reveal and were over the moon with joy when we learned Remi would join us. All our pregnancy tests came back normal, but little did we know Remis’ life would be far from it.
